The Boet jewelry line is an integration of sculpture and accessory hand crafted by Emily Bixler of Portland, Oregon. A combination of fiber and jewelry design, the collection is constructed with vintage brass chains and fabrics made from crocheted and knitted silks, wools and cottons. Inspired by inventions of both air and sea craft, the Boet line merges artistic vision with utility. Dominated by large shapes that create a compositional play on the body, Boet speaks to a past time while holding a contemporary awareness.
Emily received her BFA from Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon, and
continues to live and work in Portland.
