Naomi Mcintosh

Naomi McIntosh is a designer/maker with architectural background, having studied architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture University College London, before gaining a masters degree in jewelry design from Central Saint Martins in London. She investigates space that surrounds the body with jewelry. Her work is exhibited internationally and has been showcased in major galleries. "I use objects to reveal the landscape of the body. The structural and precise pieces investigate how volumes, patterns, planes and forms that surround the surface of the skin are seen. They look organic because of the technology and processes. My process involves hand drawings of the body, exploring the surface of the skin, as well as 3d body scans and casting volumes, capturing movement." Naomi currently lives and works in her home town of Edinburgh, Scotland.
