Niki Ulehla

Niki Ulehla is a versatile artist whose work experiments with our conceptual understandings of function and form. Drawing on the idea of the found object, Niki uses her great technical ingenuity to combine objects such as pantyhose, nails and chain with precious materials including sterling silver, 22 karat gold and ebony. ”Through these divergent techniques where play and exploration are among the most fundamental concerns, I work to create unique pieces that are simple and refined, albeit a little bit crazy."
